Sarah’s Story

My senior year of college I was responsible for planning an awards banquet honoring White Lodging. I had the opportunity to meet with Dave Sibley and Steve Ransone who encouraged me to consider a career with White Lodging after graduation. I interviewed in Chicago with my current General Manager who convinced me to take a chance and put myself out there to experience a new work environment in the hotel industry. I had no work history in hotels and was nervous about moving far away from home for this job. To my surprise, it ended up being one of the best decisions I’ve ever made.

I’ve learned more than I ever could have imagined and I see a future for myself with White Lodging. I feel confident in the progress I’ve made through extensive training and the relationships I’ve formed with my coworkers. I truly believe there’s no way I could have made this much progress with any other company and am grateful for the opportunities I’ve been given. I can’t wait to see where my future with White Lodging takes me!
